Canel Alvarez is set to take on British fighter and WBO Junior middleweight champion Liam Smith in what should be a cracking fight at the T&T Stadium in Texas. Canelo Alvarez is returning to 154lbs Junior middleweigt category after disposing off Amir Khan earlier in the year. Liam Smith is more of a natural in this division which makes this fight alot more creditable than Canelo’s last outing but still boxing fans did not want to see this fight. The fight is scheduled for Saturday, 17th September 2016 and it will be a HBO PPV.
